Specification

The Range Technology RA003B AFM/DFM Disabler (Blue) keeps your GM V6 or V8 engine in full cylinder mode 100% of the time by disabling the Active Fuel Management (AFM) or Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM) systems.

Installation

To install and set up the Range Technology AFM/DFM Disabler:
1.Locate OBD-II Port:Preparation.
Locate your vehicle’s OBD-II port under the dashboard on the driver’s side, usually beneath the steering column.
2.Plug In Device:1 min.
With the vehicle turned off, plug the Range AFM/DFM Disabler directly into the OBD-II port until it sits firmly in place.
3.Verify Power:Verification.
Turn on your engine. Look at the LEDs on the disabler; they should light up or pulse to confirm the module is receiving power and communicating with the vehicle ECU.
